Is the way to a man's Heart really through his stomach?

Name at least two things you can cook well.

This may attract some men !

This is the 21st century and many men can cook.

Sorry Toody but I think he’s partly right.

Most men can cook nowadays so that ain’t what they are looking for.

Well that's just great... I didn't get that memo grumble

laugh

On a more serious note, I believe men appreciate having a meal cooked for them, but it's not so much the way to win their hearts. Showing respect and appreciation for what they do and the things they do for you carries more weight than a good meal.

I still like cooking anyway. I cook for myself. Relationships I've been in, I cooked 98% of the time. I make good lasagna and trying all kinds of recipes.

I love cooking, always have.

If you really want to show-off get a Prime Rib
(you will pay $50+) have the butcher prep it for you.

It is so easy..a rub, then into a hot oven (450* then
down to 325*) allow to sit 20 minutes and you are ready
to slice it.

So freaking good for minimal effort.

I dated women that couldn't cook, none lasted very long, especially the ones that wouldn't even help with dishes!

Sorta the stomach, but most women cook out of a box now days, or get fast food for dinner. I cook all my own meals, so it doesn't matter if she knows how to cook or not. I've only had one GF that could cook. I told her I was going to get fat, and she took it as an insult.. needless to say after a 4 year relationship she had me up to 220lbs where I was typically around 185... lol

I disagree that the way to a mans heart is by spreading your legs for him.. God gave us hands and we can very well use them.

The way to my heart is through my brain and my male parts. Being a good cook is nice, though.

no
its not the way to my heart , i can cook <shrug>
but yes extra points for it being eatable and not making everyone sick : )

and yes i do love a good meal

k give ya 2 odd balls
..........................................
egg in a nest

take a piece of bread and cut a small area out of the center (repeat till you have enough)
drop the bread in the frying pan
crack egg in to open whole in bread (repeat if ya have other pieces of bread)

heating and weather you flip it or not all depends on how you like your eggs
i norm roll with med high heat
and i flip them to make them more sunny side up , but that again is the way i like it

and
....................................
Stupid Drunk Fathers Shepard's Pie
this is forced on me by me father but <shrug> i like it

half a bag of potato's ,clean , pull the bad spots (at least i hope he did that part) cut in to cubes , put in boiling water cook and mash when ready adding butter and milk

while that is goen on , fry a pound of ground beef
after cooking pour out the grease and drop a can of pea's in it
stir gingerly and cover (the idea is to just heat up the peas , not mash them in to nothing while stiren)
set off to the side off the burner

in a casseroll dish
you put the potato's on the bottom ramping up the sides a little (make a bowl kinda) add a layer of cheese , then add your ground beef (all ready cooked) and pea's , then layer with the rest of the package of chess 2 or 3 layers : )

then pop in the oven , you can jsut set the oven to preheat and put it in at 350 / 400 all depending on your oven and by the time it gets there its ready
and if its not just turn off the oven and leave it in a little bi , no reason to waist what ever you are cooking with electric, gas, wood, etc etc etc we jsut tryen to get the cheese to melt

any who unlike normal Shepard's Pie , the cheese wont cook and get hard on top
it falls down and makes a party with the stuff below

its intermingle able , you can change out meats , or add other things other then just pea's
.........................................
<shrug> was mainly how drunk he was to what really got tossed in there

one night we got the casseroll dish out of the oven and it was just mashed potato's lol

hhhmm
now hungry

A plain and simple bacon sandwich will attract men, and bears, take your pick.

But food only attracts the hungry, and the overweight, a very narrow range. Well it used to be !

Oh - and it attracts photographers ?? laugh

Food isn’t the way to a man’s heart.

It’s good conversation, good communication, mutual interests to enjoy together and chemistry.

Funny, the way to my heart is to really be into me being me and you being you and when that aligns, my heart opens up.

I can cook really well.
I have trouble eating.
Food is the LAST thing I want.
Good intelligent and enlightening conversation is what attracts me.
But...I'm weird...
