Obviously some of you are never, ever going to take the immigration problems seriously and understand what steps can be taken to help resolve the problems. I see us as having more of a mental health 'CRISIS' of natural borns than any CRISIS from across the border. There are many problems in our country that Congress has been unwilling to deal with. They are more interested in pandering to their base and getting reelected than solving problems. Possible solutions include term limits, Congressional rules that require bipartisanship, and pressure from their electors. Unfortunately, we have become more polarized and unwilling to even understand the other side's position.

Neither side is going to just give in so unless they find a different solution the shutdown will continue.

... Common sense says to me if illegals are scared to even ask police for help when in danger, they probably arent rushing to register to vote.

If the democrat's come into power in 2020 watch for them to offer free citizenship to all 11,000,000 illegal aliens.
