I love red and I love baseball caps, and I can't even wear my favorite red cap out anymore without some people doing a double take and asking me, so yeah, screw them for ruining red caps. =.=
Yes, I may not be white, but the stigma still stands. Every minority who looks at another minority person wearing a MAGA hat sees them as THE biggest tool on the planet btw. It's kind of like seeing a minority wearing a Confederate hat. Like... wtf? Most of us see that and we do a complete 180 the other way. XD

The red hat became the white hood when Dems felt they had the right to discriminate against true patriots..How's that Smollett story going..They have their fascist that wave a flag that's not American but is reminiscent of a 1935 NAZI flag..but we're suppose to be the Nazis..as you see the hypocrisy right in front of their faces yet they don't recognize it..

They want to defend illegal immigration while allowing those with infectious diseases in our country..they stand at the border in support of illegals why aren't they standing in the streets standing up for OUR homeless people..they support people like Obama who is a fraud and a traitor..they support people like hag Hillary who is also a traitor who sells out her own country..

But look out if you wear a red hat that says MAGA because they can't control their simple minded derangement over a hat and difference of opinion without calling Trump supporters names and assaulting them. Odd how the Dems assault Trump supporters while supporting traitors ..again the hypocrisy

You see they think they are supporting the Democratic party but what they don't realize is they are just inadvertently supporting the Globalists and their attempt at a coup while trying to destroy our culture and way of life..But they don't get it...

They have their FAKE Russian collusion story for years and came up empty..got themselves all worked up over a BIG NOTHING BURGER..now they scrounge for anything that proves Trump did something wrong as if all of them have perfect morals..again the hypocrisy..that again they won't see..

Sometimes, people fail to know the difference between disagreement and intolerance.

bigot: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.

as in, someone who doesn't discuss or consider anything but their own views and opinions, (even with limited actual evidence those views are true or make sense)

Mostly the time, the term bigot is used in reference to how a person views and treats other PEOPLE who are not like them (in legal status, race, religion, gender, sex, et cetera)

There are several people who are now comparing the red MAGA hats that trump supporters have made famous to the white hoods that the KKK wear when they practice their racism and bigotry.

I think that it is a pretty good comparison,since the trump brand is well known for its long practice of racism,and bigotry towards minorities,and if you find somebody who is a racist,or a bigot,they are USUALLY a trump supporter,and proudly wear the hat out in public while they are practicing their antisocial deeds to show their support of Donald trump and his racist,and homophobic views.

We have all seen the viral video of the high schoolers from Kentucky with a great number of them proudly wearing their red MAGA hats to show up as a unified group to protest legal abortions,and then surrounded and taunted a group of Indians protesters on camera,with one high schooler spotlighted proudly wearing his red hat as he got right in indian protester Nathan Phillips face and stood there sneering at him to try to intimidate him.

THIS is the type of antisocial behavior that we have become all too accustomed to,because whenever you see groups of people wearing the red hats,whether it is at a trump rally cheering for his racist,and homophobic views that trump spews out to excite his supporters,or on the news,when you see someone on camera after they have been singled out for practicing their own antisocial views.

I am not trying to claim that EVERYBODY that wears the red hat does these things,but I don't think that it is a coincidence that any time you see anybody doing these things that they are proudly wearing a red MAGA hat.

so...while it might not be EXACTLY like he KKK does (YET),it is similar enough to them for people to start making the connection,and associating the hat to racism,and bigotry.

Short Answer? Yes.

people who are NOT LIKE THEM, not with different opinions, but different demographic like racial, gender, financial status, religious affiliation ... et cetera.

for example, I have disagreed with maybe one Trump supporter on here who carried themself with some logic that I could follow, even if I didnt agree, and who was able to discuss things logically and respectfully, and therefore, I treated THEM with respect

unfortunately, many Trump supporters do not carry themselves maturely or respectfully, and get treated accordingly ... case by case, even if most cases here seem to not be so mature, logical, or respectful ...

In a way, this is true, and in a way not. It depends upon which things ABOUT a person are idolized or admired. For example, one may admire that Hitler was a talented speaker, without admiring he was a murderer. Yet, others may actually idolize Hitler FOR BEING A murderer.

It is hard to know without speaking to the individual. That is why the ability to have logical debate instead of dealing in oversimplified 'guilt by association' is preferred.

Yet, both sides of the aisle seem to use the strategy of guilt by association. It is pretty much the strategy of those who continue to paint Hilary or Obama as 'traitors', and also the strategy of those accusing Trump of collusion.

The difference is, that one of those groups has brought forth actual indictments of subordinates under and colleagues around the person, who one would reasonably expect said person to know about BECAUSE of their relation to them. And the other is still only stuck with empty allegations.

Really Ms.H ? You're right.it depends on what one idolizes about a person..and that's why Trump supporters cannot be considered bigots or white supremacists ..which would be exactly the same reasons that Obama or Hillary supporters should not be considered traitors.

.But as far as "painting" Obama as a traitor..that hopefully very soon will be made very clear that indeed he is..just like Hillary is a pedophile..the rabbit holes are dark these days..as you all will see..most don't have a clue and will soon be surprised as to the depth of evil we are up against...

Here's how I view it..sure Trump isn't perfect ..who is..but what he is doing is allowing us to "drain the swamp"..that's a good thing..so let's take advantage of that..then if Trump committed a crime that can be PROVEN..then we deal with that..We know that corruption exist on both sides .still we have to drain the swamp first..it only makes sense..simply because we may never get a chance like this again for a long time..if ever again

if there is no 'proof' on Trump, then there is even less on Hilary.

I dont see Trump 'draining' a swamp, except the one he came in creating, as told by the indictments of those he has brought on.

Drain the swamp is nothing but a cliche slogan. There will always be some level of corruption or crime. We have to ensure that we do not excuse or ignore it WHERE WE FIND IT, while realizing we will not eradicate or find it all, like all other types of crimes.

Trump has been around since the Central Park Five, (whom he has yet to apologize to.) even after they were cleared by DNA AND New York city paid out 25 million dollars to them. The principles of flight were around WAY before Orville and Wilbur flew at Kitty Hawk.
