Just for a laugh, not to be taken seriously, which of these, or others, are the most entertaining:

Mankind never went to the moon, it was all done on a film set.
Why did it happen?
Because the Americans and Russians were both desperate to be the first country in the world to put a man on the moon.
How did they do it?
Shot on a film set.
Evidence?
The flag appears to be fluttering, which it would in a breeze on earth, but there is no wind on the moon so it would just hang downwards.
Also a can of coke (allegendly) kicked quickly out of shot but seen in Australia as that was the part of the world that could see the live action at that time.

911 was a fake
Why did it happen?
Because the USA wanted an excuse to attack Iraq and this provided them with a revenge excuse.
How did they do it?
They laid charges to make the building collapse, just in case the planes didn't do the job well enough.
Evidence?
Watch the towers fall. They fall straight down, exactly as when a charge has been laid in a building due for destruction, quite different from what would happen if hit by a passing plane at the top of the building.
Also large amounts of money were moved by the people in the building shortly before the impact.

And there are others. I'm not saying I agree with these theories because I don't, just interested to know what other people think about them, and other conspiracy theories.

to understand the question, I reviewed the definition of conspiracy theory:

a belief that some covert but influential organization is responsible for a circumstance or event.

I love how you formatted your examples, by the way.

how about the one where Obama was born in Kenya and his birth certificate was faked.

Why did it happen?

Because democrats wanted a Black President so badly(and couldnt find an American born candidate, I guess), that they all conspired to forge documents.

How did they do it?

They forged fake documents to present as his US Birth Certificate.

Evidence?

Trustworthy sources like Joe Arpaio and Trump said so. They had 'sources' that could prove the document was a forgery.

Also what Obama's grandmother says about where he was born..as far as Obama's birth certificate check out Joe Arpaio two hand writing experts and a birth certificate belonging to a Johana A Nee

HBH..you might want to look into the Monsanto settlement also the effects of fluoride and chemtrails also known as stratospheric aerosol injection or geo engineering..just some of the chemicals they are spraying in out stratosphere are lithium,arsenic,strontium and aluminum just to name a few..

but it won't matter most of the global warming is coming from the oceans..and not that global warming will matter because Fukushima is a progressive ELE..extinction level event..or maybe that as well is a conspiracy theory..also check out the Wigner effect..may make you think twice about flying..

Are all these things of which we speak conspiracy theories simply because we haven't done enough research or can find the proof to prove that they aren't..just a thought..

Be careful, you'll have to contend with Mingle's Conspiracy Thought Police... They don't know how to spell very well but they feel they're always right on subjects they know nothing about and are the only innocent persons on planet Earth laugh

That is all right Tomb. I will take the word of survivors who buried loved ones and those who were at the site and who watched the planes regarding whether it was 'fake'.

And knowing what I do about Africa, the preponderance of details outweighs two or three individual claims.

1. There would need to be a HUGE level of conspiracy to hide or fake the travel documents (passport) of his mother. If such documents existed, they would give the claim some merit, but none have surfaced.

2. It is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY that an African man, educated in America, would fly an american white woman to AFRICA to have his baby. There would be NO MOTIVE or BENEFIT for his child.

3. Joe Arpaio is another apparent racist, who can handpick 'experts' to say anything, and is not a reliable source, from my point of view. And I can nearly GUARANTEE, that there are exponentially more 'experts' that will debunk his 'experts' claim of forgery.

4. I question whether Obamas mother said anything IN ENGLISH, and am leary of who the source is claiming that she did, or translating what she may have said.

Surprisingly, there are many who swallow all that nonsense and remain convinced that the first moon landing was all a fake, created on a film set for the sole purpose of being the first country to get to the moon, beating the Russians to it, as they were believed to be also working on a moon landing.

As for 9/11 there is no doubt it happened, it is the motive that has been questioned. The suggestion is that the American government (somehow) caused it specifically to cause a sense of public outrage that would make an attack on Iraq become popular, which of course it what happened. Politics is a dirty business, as we're seeing with the current POTUS.

Actually, I watched security video of the Pentagon crash. I watched the plane fly into the building. I watched debris fly out away from the crash and actually hit the camera. I have seen the markings on that piece of debris as it approached the camera. It had American Airlines markings (the colored stripes).

And yet some people will still claim that video footage was all faked.

If it was a fake video I'm sure the makers would be sure to show pieces flying towards the camera with clear markings on it to 'prove' their point.

Not that I'm taking sides, just pointing out that the whole thing is still very far from clear.
