2020 Vision: Democratic candidates raise funds off 'Send her back' chant at Trump rally
"When President Trump's supporters broke into a “Send her back” chant aimed at Rep. Ilhan Omar at his rally in North Carolina, the Somali-born Minnesota Democrat was having dinner with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and a small group of other progressive members of Congress at a Washington, D.C., Chinese restaurant.
The next day, amid bipartisan outrage over the chant and Trump’s strategy of stoking the country’s racial division, Sanders, former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, and other Democratic groups used the episode in their fundraising pitches".

Democrats' 'Medicare For All' Debate Is Starting To Get Ugly
"The fight over health care in the Democratic primaries took a turn for the nasty this week when former Vice President Joe Biden said that proponents of the idea were, like Republicans, intent on “getting rid of” the Affordable Care Act.
The primary target of the attack was rival presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont and longtime champion of “Medicare for All.” Sanders quickly responded, first through aides and then in a speech that basically accused Biden of lying, although he never mentioned the former vice president by the name".

Bulletpoint: Beto O’Rourke Doesn’t Have A Base
"As my editors will tell you, I have a bad habit of leaving stories half-finished. Sometimes it’s because I get bored or busy, but sometimes it’s because the subject gets less and less newsworthy as I’m in the process of finishing a story.
That’s the case with a story I’ve been working on about Beto O’Rourke, who has become less relevant to the Democratic primary now that he’s polling at only about 3 percent. But the story may help to explain why O’Rourke has struggled so much, so I’m going to resurrect it in brief, bullet-point form".

I knew from day one that this young man wasn't going to get too far in his presidential bid. He is just and is a place holder. This is one thing I've never understood about the Democrats. They know from day one who the strongest two or three are. Knowing this, why does 20 have to jump in already knowing who the strongest two or three are? They have to know that they are going to wind up dropping out.
