President Trump's job approval rating reaches high mark in NPR/PBS/Marist poll after racist tweets

"WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump's job approval rating so far does not appear to have been negatively impacted by the racist tweets he sent last week telling four Democratic congresswomen of color that they should "go back" and fix their countries of origin before trying to make changes in the U.S.

In fact, his approval rating among registered voters nationally reached a new high at 44% in an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Monday. But overall, the president is underwater with voters: 52% of those polled disapprove of the job he is doing. The poll was conducted from July 15-17, which was after the tweet he sent on July 14 and was condemned in a House resolution on Tuesday".

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2019/07/22/trump-approval-rating-new-high-npr-pbs-poll-after-racist-tweets/1796556001/

In other words, he appeals to the "RACISTS" of our country. I can't see where that is anything to be proud of. You may as well say he is making racism part of his re-election platform.

Trump boasts Afghanistan would be easy to fix: 'I just don't want to kill 10 million people'

"President Trump said Monday that he could easily end the war in Afghanistan by destroying the entire country, but it would result in 10 million deaths.

“We’re like policemen. We’re not fighting a war. If we wanted to fight a war in Afghanistan and win it, I could win that war in a week,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. “I just don’t want to kill 10 million people.”

The population of Afghanistan is around 35 million.

“I have plans on Afghanistan that if I wanted to win that war, Afghanistan would be wiped off the face of the earth. It would be gone, it would be over literally in 10 days".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-boasts-afghanistan-would-be-easy-to-fix-i-just-dont-want-to-kill-10-million-people-190412501.html

Sure he could. Just like he said he would "stop all violence" minute he was elected and present a "big beautiful healthcare plan that protects people with preexisting conditions" in the first month of his presidency, and " take care of America's infrastructure problems" in the first six months in office. Yup. The stable genius has it all figured out, folks. You can rest easy now.

With Mueller testimony looming, Trump predicts trouble for the special counsel and Dems

"President Donald Trump predicted Monday that Robert Mueller’s highly anticipated testimony before Congress this week will “be bad for him,” and again suggested that the former special counsel should not answer questions from lawmakers.

“Highly conflicted Robert Mueller should not be given another bite at the apple,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “In the end, it will be bad for him and the phony Democrats in Congress who have done nothing but waste time on this ridiculous Witch Hunt. Result of the Mueller Report, NO COLLUSION, NO OBSTRUCTION!".

http://www.politico.com/story/2019/07/22/trump-mueller-testimony-1424608

Mr. Trump and other members of the current regime consistently have attacked the integrity of Mr. Mueller; they have rarely argued facts, the message is 'you should simply believe us over Mr. Mueller because he lacks integrity.' OK Let's examine this claim.

Integrity is defined as 'the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.' These guys always want this to be about the integrity of Mr. Mueller vs the integrity of Mr. Trump. The best way to determine whether or not one has integrity is to examine an individual's history. Let's take a look at these two men: Donald Trump and Robert Mueller, who should we really believe.

Well, let's look at Mr. Mueller first:

While many young men were looking for any means to avoid the draft, Mr. Mueller enlisted in the Marine Corps, he had to wait a year so a knee injury could heal, and then Mueller was accepted for officer training in the United States Marine Corps in 1968, attending training at Parris Island, Officer Candidate School, Army Ranger School, and Army jump school.

Many men would have used the knee injury as an excuse to avoid serving their country, but Mr. Mueller recovered and then reported for service.

In July 1968, he was sent to South Vietnam, where he served as a rifle platoon leader as a second lieutenant with Second Platoon, H Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division.

On December 11, 1968, during an engagement in Operation Scotland II, he earned the Bronze Star with "V" device for combat valor for rescuing a wounded Marine under enemy fire during an ambush in which he saw a half of his platoon become casualties

In April 1969, he received an enemy gunshot wound in the thigh, recovered, and returned to lead his platoon until June 1969. For his service in and during the Vietnam War, his military decorations and awards include: the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V", Purple Heart Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals with Combat "V", Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four service stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Parachutist Badge.

After serving in the Marine Corps, Mr. Mueller served his country in a number of positions:

Under President Reagan, Mueller served as Acting United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.

Under George Bush and Bill Clinton, Mr. Mueller served as the United States Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division.

Under Bill Clinton and then the younger George Bush, Mueller served as United States Attorney for the Northern District of California.

Under George Bush, Mueller served as the Acting United States, Deputy Attorney General.

Under Bush and Obama, Mueller served as 6th Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Finally, Mr. Mueller served as Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice.

Now, let's take a look at the other man, Donald Trump.

First, for Mr. Trump, with no record of previous public service, we'll look at some recent history, some episodes from his life as he was working to enter public life.

Just prior to the election, Mr. Trump agreed to pay $25,000,000 in order to settle a Civil Suit for FRAUD.

Next, in the midst of the election cycle, Mr. Trump paid both a porn star and a playboy model in order to keep them from the public of learning of his extramarital affairs.

Thirdly, Mr. Trump agreed to close the Donald J Trump Foundation after the Attorney General of the state of New York alleged that there was "a shocking pattern of illegality involving the Trump Foundation — including unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more. This amounted to the Trump Foundation functioning as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump's business and political interests."

Finally, when Mr. Trump was asked by his country for his service in uniform, he claimed BS (Bone Spurs). Mr. Trump received a diagnosis from a tenant of his father, and when questioned later, he could not remember in which foot these bone spurs (BS), existed.

There it is, a brief account of the 'public service' of these two individuals: which of the men has integrity?

Trump should stop saying "no obstruction no collusion" since Mueller found cases of both.

Letter: Maybe Donald Trump is the one who should go

"It matters not so much that President Donald Trump’s recent comments attacking four congresswomen of color can be considered racist. It’s the blatant hypocrisy of his attack — and that no other president has continually spoken in such divisive ways, making such aggressive use of the office to whip up the fervor of citizen against citizen".

Trump Might Use the G-7 Summit to Bail Out His Struggling Golf Club

"When the leaders of the world’s top advanced economies met last summer in Canada, pictures of the G-7 summit famously showed President Donald Trump at odds with his peers: arms crossed and glaring, while the other world leaders appeared to be arguing with him. Several leaders present joked that it was the G-6+1, because Trump was so uncooperative and distant from the group. But when the summit comes to the United States next summer, the attendees may find Trump unavoidable—and find themselves helping him line his pockets. According to Axios, Trump has narrowed the list of possible sites for the 2020 G-7 conference down to a few finalists, and the Trump National Doral golf club in Miami is on the list".

Donald Trump raises millions from Californians, but not as much as these Democrats

"Thousands of Californians, including hundreds of Central Valley residents, gave to President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign this spring, campaign finance records show.

California remains one of the president’s favorite punching bags. The state has now sued his administration more than 50 times. But many Californians continue to support the president, donating approximately $2 million to his campaign between April and June of 2019. That brings Trump’s total 2020 fundraising from the state to more than $3.5 million".

Trump says Mueller should not be allowed to testify about investigating possible obstruction of justice

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-mueller-not-allowed-131520576.html

The Mueller Report - Volume II for Dummies

(((( A )))))---Mueller did find evidence Trump obstructed justice---

page 157

"Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that was capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations.

Soon after he fired Comey, the President became aware that investigators were conducting an obstruction-of-justice inquiry into his own conduct...(and he) launched public attacks on the investigation and individuals...who could possess evidence adverse to the President, while in private, the President engaged in a series of targeted efforts to control the investigation.

The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General' s recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony."

Page 182 (linear page 394), paragraph 1 (CONCLUSION)

" if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

Mueller lists the evidence of obstruction in 10 areas---

1. The Campaign's Response to Reports About Russian Support for Trump (15 - 23)
2. The Presidents Conduct Concerning the Investigation of Michael Flynn (24 - 48)
3. The President's Reaction to Public Confirmation of the FBI's Russia Investigation (48 - 61)
4. Events Up to and Surrounding the Termination of FBI Director Comey (61 - 77)
5. The President Efforts to Remove the Special Counsel (77 - 90)
6. The President's Efforts to Curtail the Special Counsel Investigation (90 - 98)
7. The President's Efforts to Prevent Disclosure of Emails About the 6/9/16 Meeting Between Russians and Senior Campaign Officials (98 - 107)
8. The President's Further Efforts to Have the Attorney General Take Over the Investigation (107 - 120)
9. The President's Conduct Towards Manafort, Flynn, [READACTED] (120 - 133)
10. The President's Conduct Involving Michael Cohen (134 - 156)

(((( C ))))---Mueller did not indict Trump because of DOJ policy of not indicting a president and said just accusing Chump of committing a crime would place a burden on his ability to carry out his Constitutional duties---

Page 1, Paragraph 4:

"We first describe the considerations that guided our obstruction-of-justice investigation.

First, a traditional prosecution or declination decision entails a binary determination to initiate or decline a prosecution, but we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment.

The Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) has issued an opinion finding that "the indictment or criminal prosecution of a sitting President would impermissibly undermine the capacity of the executive branch to perform its constitutionally assigned functions " in violation of "the constitutional separation of powers." ... this Office accepted OLC ' s legal conclusion for the purpose of exercising prosecutorial jurisdiction.

And....we recognized that a federal criminal accusation against a sitting President would place burdens on the President's capacity to govern and potentially preempt constitutional processes for addressing presidential misconduct. "

Page 15, Paragraph 2

"Consistent with our jurisdiction to investigate federal obstruction crimes, we gathered evidence that is relevant to the elements of those crimes and analyzed them...while refraining from reaching ultimate conclusions about whether crimes were committed,..."

Mueller said Congress should apply the laws to his findings because no one is above the law---

Page 8, Paragraph 2

"....we concluded that in the rare case in which a criminal investigation of the President' s conduct is justified, inquiries to determine whether the President acted for a corrupt motive should not impermissibly chill his performance of his constitutionally assigned duties. The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law."

Trump: 'I'm The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Puerto Rico'

"As hundreds of thousands gathered in the streets of San Juan to call for the removal of Gov. Ricardo Rosselló, President Donald Trump launched harsh verbal attacks on Puerto Rican officials.

Puerto Rico’s governor has refused to leave office after leaked messages revealed he and other government officials privately insulted women, people with disabilities and victims of Hurricane Maria. Trump told reporters on Monday that the governor and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz were “grossly incompetent".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-puerto-rico-200624508.html

I recall the devastation in Puerto Rico. Donald's response to the power crisis was political. He and his staff awarded a multi-million dollar contract to two inexperienced and unqualified Republican supporters to fix the critically needed utility. Donald should resign instead of the governor. I understand that the power is still not fully restored islandwide.

I think Trump should take a stroll through the streets of Puerto Rico since he is so loved. I'm sure the citizens would like to express their happiness with what he's done for them.

In related news, here's the latest official photo of the current WH administration.

On Iran, Donald Trump is running out of options

"Donald Trump is fast running out of good options to deal with Iran despite choosing today to impose fresh sanctions, this time directly on Iran’s leaders.

The president announced the extra sanctions with a warning to Iran that “restraint” by the United States has its limits.

But Trump has locked himself into a cycle with Iran that leaves him little choice but to show military restraint".

Trump will wage war and continue the war throughout the next election and claim the country needs him to finish the war. Bush played this same card in Iraq. I think Trump knows this is about the only way he will stay in office. He's fu$%^& up to many times. If this happens, it will be his millstone around his neck.

He started this crisis when the rest of the world and Iran had decided on a course to avert one. He owns whatever bad things happen from here on. I've said it before, and I will say it again. The leadership of this country, (Iran) isn't one bit afraid to use biological weapons on the people of the USA. Because of Trump and his ways, millions could die. Right here on homeland soil. They are not one bit afraid to bring devastating bio war to us. This is not something to be taken lightly. Millions will die needlessly.

Trump has united Iran's Conservatives and Reformists, young and old. He has made them bolder, notice how they seized the British ship like it was nothing and shot down our drone without remorse? Mark my words...Trump has inadvertently given birth to Pax Iranica after tearing up the JCPOA.

Trump proclaimed if Hillary was elected she would lead America to war. Say what now? Trump is the kind of "president" that will start a war to deflect from troubles at home. How scary is that? This works perfectly into his campaign plan. Presidents, more often than not, get a second term if the country is at war.

Get ready.

When Does America Reckon with the Gravity of Donald Trump’s Alleged Rapes?

"For more than a decade, it’s been no secret that multimillionaire hedge-fund manager Jeffrey Epstein trafficked, molested, and raped dozens of underage girls. And yet, until his arrest last week, it seemed as if he might escape with little more than a slap on the wrist because he’s rich and well-connected.

In 2007, federal prosecutors prepared a 53-page indictment that could have put Epstein in prison for life for the sex trafficking of minors. Instead, Epstein served only thirteen months for solicitation—during which he was allowed to leave and work from his office for 12 hours a day, six days a week—thanks to a sweetheart plea deal brokered by Alex Acosta, then a federal prosecutor in Florida and now Trump’s secretary of labor".

Ex-Wife: Donald Trump Made Me Feel ‘Violated’ During Sex

"Donald Trump introduced his presidential campaign to the world with a slur against Mexican immigrants, accusing them of being “rapists” and bringing crime into the country.

Ivana Trump denies accusing Donald Trump of rape

"Donald Trump’s ex-wife is disputing a story published by The Daily Beast that reported that she had accused Trump of rape in a court deposition from the 1990s.

“I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit,” Ivana said in a statement to CNN. “Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign. Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president.”

The Daily Beast story, which posted Monday night, said Trump’s ex-wife had once accused Trump of “rape.” She later said that the alleged rape was not in a “criminal sense.”

The divorce was granted on the grounds of “cruel and inhuman treatment” of Ivana. She also has been issued a gag order that bars her from discussing her marriage to Trump without his permission".

As AG Barr's spygate investigation proceeds democrat's and their news media outlets are squealing louder and louder.

Barr's investigation will begin to unearth illegal activity by the rich and politically powerful.

No doubt Barr's probe will cross lines with the Epstein investigation finding some in Washington DC (past and present) were involved with his sick activities.

These two cases will, no doubt, have a strong effect on the 2020 election.

Question: why are there more protests against the spygate investigation by democrat's than republican's?

Time will tell.

But Don the Con has told us he is the most transparent president ever, and he said during the campaign that he would show us his returns. Two more lies to add to the 10,000 plus he has told during his term in office? He must be the biggest crook since Al Capone. Nobody with nothing to hide would go to such great lengths to keep things hidden. We all know, besides being some sort of a sexual pervert, He's a crook and a con man, we, the thinking people of the USA know this man has to go one way or the other before he gets us in a war with Iran.

I expect any day to wake up to the news that Trump ordered a strike against Iran. And if that does happen, we as Americans are going to be in the deepest shyt we have ever been in since WW2. Trump only cares about Trump. He knows he is most likely a one-term president. He just has too much shyt against him. To stay in office, he will start a war. I wouldn't put it past him.

I hope if this idiot of a man does start a war, every person that supported him wind up on the front line. Let them with all there racism and hate die for Trump first. They deserve to be upfront. That way hopefully less will have to die to defend America.

Trump calls victims of his racist tweets 'racist' in wild and unfounded attack while on way to judge's memorial

"Donald Trump has once again attacked the four Democratic congresswomen of colour he hurled racist insults at last week, claiming in a tweet on Monday the freshmen politicians are “a very Racist group of troublemakers.”

“The ‘Squad’ is a very Racist group of troublemakers who are young, inexperienced, and not very smart,” the president wrote, referring to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib. “They are pulling the once great Democrat Party far left and were against humanitarian aid at the Border...And are now against ICE and Homeland Security".

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-twitter-the-squad-racist-justice-stevens-congresswomen-border-a9015936.html

Smart people have Trump figured out. He attacks his opponents by stating the exact opposite of truths. Figuring if someone believes even 10% of his lies, he has won.

Inexperienced and not very smart, funny that is how I would describe Donald Trump. Nice to know he sent those Tweets while on the way to a memorial service.

So the man who can't say the words "anonymous" or "origins", can't spell "hamburgers" and thinks windmills cause cancer has the audacity to say ANYONE isn't very smart?. That's so rich.

Fox News Host Calls for ‘9/11-Style Commission’ to Investigate How AOC Was Elected to Congress

"Reacting to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) call for a “9/11-style commission” to be convened to investigate the Trump administration’s child separation policy at the border, Fox News host Pete Hegseth said on Monday that there should instead be an investigation to see how the progressive lawmaker was elected to Congress in the first place".

http://news.yahoo.com/fox-news-host-calls-9-175812501.html

Fox News host Pete Hegseth said on Monday that there should instead be an investigation to see how the progressive lawmaker was elected to Congress in the first place.

Well, it sure wasn't with Russians help.

Doesn't it seem a little strange that the Republican party is paying so much attention to this new Congressperson and not the actual Democrats in charge of the party and the Democrats actually running for President? Why would that be? Why would Fox and Trump and the Republican obsess on someone who has virtually no power whatsoever?

Give me $40 million and I'll assemble a team of experts. It will take us a couple of years, then we'll present our conclusion: the majority of voters in her district voted for her. Well worth the money spent, I think.

Republicans Aren’t Happy: Mueller Makes Last-Minute Request Ahead Of Testimony

"Former special counsel Robert Mueller asked Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee to swear in his longtime deputy as a witness at a congressional hearing Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

Mueller asked that Aaron Zebley, who served as deputy on the special counsel’s probe, be sworn in as a witness in order to address any questions that he is not able to answer, according to sources familiar with the matter, The New York Times and CNN reported".

http://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/republicans-aren%E2%80%99t-happy-mueller-makes-last-minute-request-ahead-testimony-68697

Very shrewd by Mueller! Even if Zebley was there just as a counsel to aid Mueller, it could still change the dynamic of Mueller's testimony.

"In a report of the investigation, Mueller said that his team was unable to establish that any Trump associates conspired with the Russian government to influence the election. But the report was vague on obstruction. Mueller declined to charge Trump on obstruction, but also said that the Republican was not exonerated by the investigation."

Actually, Mueller was "very" specific about why he didn't indict Trump on obstruction: he was "barred" from indicting because the DOJ policy says sitting presidents "can't" be. he never once said he thought Trump was innocent of obstruction, no matter what Don the Con says.

Trump calls Rep. Tlaib a 'crazed lunatic' and rails against 'Squad' in fiery speech

"WASHINGTON — President Trump took his feud with four progressive congresswomen to a new level in a speech on Tuesday afternoon, with incendiary attacks that included false accusations. Before a crowd of teenage conservative activists at a hotel in downtown Washington, D.C., Trump repeatedly called Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., a “lunatic” and blasted her three progressive colleagues who have come to be known as “the Squad".

http://news.yahoo.com/trump-turning-points-speech-194452895.html

This is the message that the President of the United States chose for an audience of teenagers?

People keep trying to claim Deep State and say it's a Democrat thing. But they're focusing on people who've not even been in office but 6 months as some sort of national conspiracy. If you want to talk conspiracies and "Deep State"s, how about considering that a man who had 0 political experience and the full (from appearances, at least) animosity of the entire Republican party suddenly got elected to this nation's highest office, and everyone who opposed him was suddenly backing him 100%?

Mueller said Trump was 'not exculpated' for obstruction of justice. The dictionary responded

"WASHINGTON – Even the dictionary weighed in on special counsel Robert Mueller's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.

"The president was not exculpated for the acts that he allegedly committed,” Mueller said during his Wednesday testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.

Merriam-Webster's Twitter account posted the definition of "exculpate" after Mueller made his remarks.

"To be 'exculpated' is to be cleared from alleged fault or guilt," wrote the dictionary's account, noting that the term had started trending on social media.

President Donald Trump has insisted special counsel Robert Mueller's report was "total exoneration" for him and his 2016 presidential campaign. Mueller, however, reiterated in the hearing that his report's findings that his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election did not actually exonerate the president for the alleged crime of obstruction of justice".

Video: Robert Mueller’s Full Day Of Testimony On The Report, Russia And Trump

"Robert Mueller on Wednesday bluntly dismissed President Donald Trump's claims of total exoneration in the federal probe of Russia's 2016 election interference, telling Congress he explicitly did not clear the president of obstructing his investigation. The former special counsel also rejected Trump's assertions that the probe was a "witch hunt" and hoax".

In the long run this has been a win for the Democrats. They got what they were after. Whether they impeach him or not, doesn't matter. Now, it will either be the impeachment of him or fight him at the ballot box. Either way, now it has gone to the court of public opinion. This is what the Democrats wanted all along.

For the general public to be able to hear what Robert Mueller had to say, will, in the end, carry a lot of weight with the public at large. Trump has already proven himself a liar with no credibility. Mueller is a man of high credibility. His testimony will do one or both of two things. It will finally push the Democrats to impeach. Or, it will give more incentive for people to come election time to vote him out. Either way, at this point, it's a Democrat win.

Trump accepted help from Russia. He may not have known about it in the beginning. But when he did find out, instead of reporting it to the proper authorities, he accepted it. That was a traitorous act on his part. Also obstruction. Trump has a rope around his neck right now. Just waiting for someone (Democrats) to kick the chair out from under him. Now, we wait and see how they go about it. Impeachment or the ballot box. Either way, the Democrats know that the court of public opinion carries a whole lot of weight.

And just what were you watching??? Looked to me like it blew up in their faces. Even your precious MSM didn't like what they saw. I feel sorry for Mueller, he really looked bad. There was just too many times he didn't know his own report. Too many times he contradicted his own report findings. He DIDN'T know about Fusion GPS??? How could he not? What the heck? It's ONLY the company that produced the fictional Steele Dossier.

Start grasping the idea that Dems won't impeach Trump, because they have no evidence. They certainly shot their 2020 ambitions square in the hind end.

Got a crying towel?tears

Mueller Says He Cannot Name Another Case Where DOJ Required Proof of Innocence

"Special Counsel Robert Mueller said during congressional testimony Wednesday that he cannot name a precedent in which the Justice Department decided an individual was not exonerated because their innocence had not been proven, but cautioned that the Russia investigation was a unique circumstance".

Top House Democrats react to Robert Mueller's congressional testimony

"Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House committee Chairmen Nadler, Schiff and Cummings offer conclusions on former special counsel Robert Mueller's appearance on Capitol Hill".

Trump portrays Mueller testimony as a victory as Pelosi keeps impeachment on hold

"President Trump told reporters Wednesday that special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony before Congress disappointed Democrats who continue to grapple with whether to pursue impeaching him.

“They are devastated, the Democrats lost so big today,” Trump told reporters gathered on the White House lawn.

Trump, who had tweeted angrily about Mueller’s appearances before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees, also took aim at the man who had investigated his 2016 presidential campaign’s ties to Russia".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-mueller-hearings-pelosi-impeachment-225524259.html

It may be a victory for Trump, or push for the Democrats, but for ordinary Americans, it was depressing to hear how a political campaign welcomed and encourage a foreign power to participate in our elections. Conclusion: our politicians don't have the people's best interests at heart.

He also portrayed the report as a complete vindication the totally exonerated him. Today Mueller testified under oath that he did not exonerate Trump and that Trump attempted to Obstruct justice multiple times. He also testified that the Trump Campaign manager admitted giving campaign data and strategy to Russians and lied about it.

He testified that the Russians absolutely ran a huge campaign on social media, spreading false stories to influence voters and that they are still doing it and that the president is making a false statement when he says the investigation is a hoax. Mueller was first nominated as a federal prosecutor by President Ronald Reagan. He was then made the head of the FBI by W in 2001. Finally, he was appointed special prosecutor by Rod Rosenstein, who President Trump handpicked as deputy AG.

Actually, Trump made it quite clear today why he is continuing to obstruct justice by trying not to supply his tax returns and providing access to information. In his own words: "They need more information." This is what Nancy Pelosi explained the courts are pursuing. Trump understands that it is a matter of time before the courts obtain this material and whether he is impeached now or indicted later, HE AND HIS FAMILY AND ASSOCIATES WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

What needs to be done immediately is a bill drawn up and passed that requires all prospective presidential candidates, including the sitting president, if he wishes to apply to reelection, to supply their tax returns prior to being accepted as candidates for the presidency. It is necessary to know who is financially supporting anyone who submits their name for presidential candidacy. This should be a requirement prior to debates, etc., to prevent wasting people's time and money on unqualified applicants.
