But, fuel prices are down.
I plan on putting in several thousand miles
by years end.

In gas mask, and full body-armor if necessary.

If there was ever an apocalyptic disease ... Ebola has to come close .. omg ., haemorrhage from every orifice ... We certainly have not seen the last of it .

I think that the real problem with any of these novel viruses isn't the death rate but the infection rate and the economic effects. A quarter of Italy is in quaranteen, which seems a little excessive considering the 1% death rate, but you do have to consider the possibilities of mutation into something much more serious.
Here in the UK, it's expected that the virus will infect 80% of the population, the vast majority of whom will recover in a fortnight or so. However, if 80% of your population is in voluntary quaranteen, then the impact on our economy will be serious.
hi seamus waving without a doubt the infection rates and economic hardships is very concerning . I think it is too early to understand what this disease represents in terms of mortality , already the figures are changing .. I believe they will continue to rise especially within third world countries and those with limited healthcare resources . Latest report from the world health organisation states 3.4% death rate .

http://www.sciencealert.com/covid-19-s-death-rate-is-higher-than-thought-but-it-should-drop

With billions of replications of the virus and it passing through millions of people in each country, then the chances of it mutating into something far worse is always very real.

it is here and just a matter of time the loss we will have :>( where jhust getting started ...
really contagious thats the problem and saying stay 7 to 8 ft from someone ...

and thanks Blondy for you input  u be careful also flowerforyou and for thanks for work you do ... for others ...

flowers you are very welcome .waving

There is a global. Awareness which is positive and for now it is very much about containment and preventing spread .

Stop traveling.

My idea. I don't get why travel that's not absolutely necessary is still done and allowed.

Yesterday we had 382 cases. We get the official update each day at 14:00. So 2 more hours for the next update.
As far as I know we now have 5 cases in my province, one of which on my area, in my village. The other 4 on the next island.

There is an infected man having treatment in a hospital 5 miles from me.

I saw about half of Scotland (western part) has no cases yet. I thought you'd be just in that section but I guess not...

OT - we have another 121 new cases meaning we got 503 now. And another older man with underlying issues passed away. The 5th one.

Looking at the world spread, it may be a good time to go on holiday to Turkey. Or Madagascar, or Africa. Cuba might be nice too.
Scottish highlands could be wonderful, but a tad cold this time a year...

I still say the best thing one can do is use a juicer, and make sure you have lots of leafy greens mixed with fruit to mask the taste, and always juice cranberries if you can get em, or put frozen ones in a smoothie. Juicing is extremely potent, and can keep you well and healed, as I haven't been sick with any cold or anything flu-like since 2003. Keep it constant though!... also,.......

The Essential oil called "Thieves", the best from "Young Living" brand. If it can keep people from getting Bubonic plague while stealing from the dead in the plague fields, I believe it will do some good here!!!....

don't take my word for it...

Do your research on these things, and you will find that you will have greatly increased your odds for excellent health through this mess.

Funny synchronicity as I saw someone post something in "Thieves" the other day on FB. If memory serves it was clove, ginger and something else.
Anywho, how do you then use it? Just put it in a burner or diffuser I assume?

Clove and Cinnamon is what you smell mostly, but there is quite a bit in it yes.

I wear it on my collar, or on a mask, if things get that bad... or on my collar and skullcap (like in my pic).

It's the BEST... so it's pricey, but it'll go a very long way!

In the house, a diffuser might be a great idea... I would research that, and I think i'ma doo the same, as I'm wondering now. I just know it worked in the plague, and none got sick. a next to impossible feat, as the plague was airborne eventually.

In my state there have been no cases of the Coronavirus. I think there will be one stupid person from Seattle, where there is a a breakout of the virus, saying - "I think I'll go visit my relatives in Idaho", while they carry the virus. I think that can happen here, and can spread the virus.

Could be great in the diffuser or burner. Inhaling it. Plus if it smells okay...
I don't fancy spicy smells but I can understand using it for health reasons. I too read that it allegedly kept thieves from getting the plague when they were robbing plague victims.
As it is I'm not buying it. Some E40 for a bottle is a bit too much for me.
I'm supposed to get some alternative grains one of these days to help boost the immune system. The woman who makes these (charges them with the right vibration that is) is incredibly good, again, wait and see.

As for using essential oils ., statements have been released from nz microbiologist cautioning the public about the use of essential oils against corona virus ... although some essential oils claim to have antiviral properties .. claims are largely scientifically unproven .. to be effective they would need to be applied directly to the virus to have any effect . Internal consumption of essential oils can be harmful and is not recommended .. will post links later waving

Wow, Blondey, thank you for that report!!!....drinker

no, never drink thieves, as it would be like drinking battery acid. that's how it destroys airborne viruses.

For other oils, you are exactly right.....

I won't use any other essential oils, because they are not used for that purpose...

waving you are welcome darkowl .. It is quite a detailed report

I understand why there is a need to feel in control but there is a lot of misinformation circulating on the internet .. especially about β€œcures β€œ . Not everyone will question validity or risk . I am working through several scientific reports and will post links if anything is helpful .

Seems everyone wants a pill to cure everything these days. Big pharm knows this, and capitalizes on this, giving six pills for one ailment, one to put a tiny bandaid on it, but never cures it, and five to counter-act the side-effects fall-out. Costing the tax payer up to $1800.00 a month and sometimes more. I've seen this and worse, first hand.

A few good doctors practice preventative medicine here, but are ridiculed, and belittled and even threatened, as big pharm wants to eradicate these practices, because if people really found out what was really going on, big pharm would have trouble... 2000 people die a year from Aspirin complications alone... they hide it well, don't they?
