Can anyone help me out with updating the apps on my Firestick. The apps are becominng more and more out-of-date and I think this is the problem when trying to update existing apps and/or add new apps. I am in isolation at home and this would be really handy

hi try checking for updates

Turn on your TV and fire up the Amazon Fire Stick.

Select Settings from the main menu.

Select Device and About.

Select Software Version and then Check for System Update.

Your Fire Stick should now check for an update and you will need to select Install System Update should it find any.

If automatic updates has been turned off for any reason, turn it back on again.

To add apps

Scroll to Apps from the menu on your Amazon Fire Stick.

Use the direction keys on your remote to go down to open the AppStore.

Select an app you want to add using the same direction keys.

Select Get from within the app description screen.

Wait for the download and installation to complete.
