I need help with learning how to use this app. Does anyone have any experience with it?

unless you are a very high security risk for stuff on your phone then don't bother with it. disable it and or remove it.

it is a 2 step process to sign into anything. that mean you need a pass word and then you need to go to mail and get a one time password, then go back to the app you are logging into and type it in every time you log into something.

ok so google auth app is to secure your login details with another step so that even hackers knows your password cannot enter into it .. its secure because its a local app it never sync.

note : its local so if u loose it or delete it by mistake you cant log in into anything and also cant recover the old data by reinstalling it

I use 2FAS Auth and it works great, just remember to save your backup codes because I been locked out of few sites because I don't have the backup codes or have that cell phone lol
