It's nice to see more and more games coming to VR, it's going to be the future of gaming in the next 10 or so years, really looking forward to see what this year brings!

I agree. After I started playing VR games, I couldn't find conventional games funny anymore. We are hopefully getting the second generation of the PSVR in the next year

With advanced nanotechnology one day we might have a special room where games have substance. Sorta like an advanced holographic environment where you don't have to wear special gear to get the immersive effect.
With creative use of heating and freezing panels, fans and odor generators not only will you play the game you will feel the air and smell the blood & gun powder.
Sorta kinda like Star Trek's holodeck.

Holographic technology has been maturing rapidly in the past few years. The Star Trek holodeck, or Holographic Environment Simulator (HES) might not be too far into the future.

The next step after that is to afford to have one installed in your house.
How many of us would never come out?

You could even fit the room with a delivery window that has the look of a food replicator. Order your food online by headset and its delivered to the window.
Ya would still have to pause the game for bathroom breaks...at first...
