A bit an attempt to imitate Indiana Jones with a bit of James Bond and I think Mission Impossible music thrown in the mix. But still good entertainment.
Rewatched Cronenberg's The Fly during the Halloween season. Can't stop thinking about it, really good movie.
That, and Jacob's Ladder.
The Losers
I had high hopes cos Slim was enthused about it, and the rating is quite good.
However, I was disappointed. Not a great cast -except for Idris-, acting is pretty crappy, it just didn't vibe for me.
Also, you do not put Idris Elba in a backrow character! He's the Alpha, the lead. Bad bad choice! Maybe he wanted something different but I still feel it's a bad choice.
Movie is okay if you have time to kill and don't want to waste time searching for something good, or are in the mood for something light.
Just don't expect too much.
"Beasts Of No Nation" is excellent directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.
A must-watch and Idris Elba is stellar.

I just watched the movie "All that Jazz". I thought it was supposed to be a classic. It was terrible. I hated it. I was forcing myself to stay awake. Never again.
