OMG!! this melted my heart. The Orca is smaller than a man, so little. I cannot imagine how lost, lonely and scared he is feeling. And yes, it is also inspiring hope that so many people are caring for him. I am hoping that they will re-unite them soon. Could you please let me know when you read the good news.

Thank you Blondey, for sharing this wonderful help news with me

waving A little more heart melting news .. the baby orca has been given a name ...Toa which means brave /strong . It is believed he hasn’t been weaned from mum yet , so still dependent on her milk . So far no sightings of his pod but the aerial search very much continues. Meanwhile , rescuers are in the water with him 24/7 including overnight . NZ has been bearing the brunt of a polar blast the last few weeks so such an amazing fear to keep the baby supported despite the freezing conditions . He is being fed electrolytes and although there are concerns about injuries he sustained when he became stranded in rocks ,so far he appears to be coping with the ordeal . Nz is still hanging onto hope for sightings of mum or another orca pod
