The left and far left ran on a defund he police platform.
And they did defund police departments and in the process villianized police. which led to demoralized police departments across America. especially in blue states. Urban areas 6
Police then retired or quit in record numbers. leaving these police departments severely undermanned.
And guess what happened... the crime rate skyrocketed. Especially murders, shootings, car jacking & smash and grab
Now the same people who screamed to defund the police are now screaming to refund police...and to hire yet more. They are giving police who did not quit up to a $10,000 bonus ... just to stay
During the entire last week of Dec. 6,500 NYC police called in sick... for the entire week..... 6,500
of course they were not sick. its the " blue flu"
But thats what happens when you demoralize....anyone. in any industry. They quit or they find ways not to work or they do the bare minimal ( human nature)
Good job left and far left.. the crime spike is on YOU

I am astonished that roughly HALF of this country can support a party that believes:

1. Go easy on criminals, the police are the primary problem

2. Let anyone from any country come into the USA with no vetting and that will help our country

3. Shut down our oil pipelines so we are not a self-sufficient country and must rely on others

4. Looting, burning down buildings, stealing merchandise because a criminal is accidentally or mistakenly killed in the process of their crime (with maybe one exception) should be the norm and get a pass

5. Multiple genders, safe spaces, welfare without work (with a few exceptions), socialism, free stuff, others pay off my student loans for me, and woke nonsense makes a productive society.

Honestly, I find it impossible to believe that this many people in my country can be this stupid. Like it or not, if you voted/vote Democrat, this is what you are voting for.

I love this country but am finding it harder and harder to live amongst folks who feel this way after working hard my whole life and doing things right all along the way.

Surely I can't be the only one perplexed at how people can support the above.

I have a few friends and family members who are NYC cops and they tell me that if they see a crime being committed they will stop it but other then that they won't do much.
They tell me the city turned it back on them...public too. the ones who are close to retirement are taking early retirement, others are looking to move and become cops in other states or areas. where they are appreciated. Or just leave the field altogether
Imagine going to a job where your boss puts you down. takes away your budget and will not support you and your " customers" hate you.
That is how they feel... not a good feeling

I’m in N. Carolina, a rural area outside large city. Of all the people I encounter and I deal with blacks, whites, Latin. all different financial brackets. 80% of them are not shy about their disdain for joe Biden. I believe a lot of these opinions are because 99% of these folks are middle class working family’s. So this is something I only see on the news or discuss with other conservatives ( friends and family). So there are still large parts of this country that are not subscribing to all the immoral, Divisive ideology put forth by these sickos. I’m not convinced they will win, I see more and more folks are starting to wake up and see the liberal democrats for who the really are and what they really stand for. I believe another red wave is approaching maybe a tsunami.

The entire defund the police is a total failure. Now most politicians who backed it are trying to distance themselves from it.
And in my opinion the other big mistake they made was in the schools and inserting far left culture into the school boards and curriculum. In doing that they pissed off alot of parents. After all, humans are animals and in the animal world if you get between parents and their children, especially a mother and her kids. you are going to have a huge fight in your hands....And that's what they have.
I see a red wave in Nov. People have had enough

While I think defunding police in Democrat controlled cities with high crime rates was idiotic giving more money to police now may be an exercise on futility.

The new Manhattan DA just told prosecutors to charge ARMED robberies as "petty theft" if no on was injured. That is but one of the ways he's told prosecutors to reduce normal felony charges to misdemeanor. He's claiming these policies will make New York safer. whoa

Humanity has a floating ground -and/or many.

That is basically when a circuit is complete, but the return path is not also connected to earth ground. Without all circuits/devices also being grounded to earth, they do not have the same base of reference -and things go wrong when devices try to work together.

Earth ground in my analogy being reality.
We just have no clue that common ground and normalcy are real things. Everyone is in a separate reality and can't relate to each other as they float farther away from the common -actual -reality.

Hmmm just what I was thinking at the time

Maybe we should do away with the police? We could use the money to buy every citizen a gun and ten bullets and see where thing go from there? Would it really be any worse than some of these other idiotic ideas they come up with?
Not only are they defunding police, the DA's are not prosecuting crimes, but I'm sure these criminals will only commit one crime in their life time and then move on to some schooling or a career of something productive to society.

Oh, British Columbia. My question still stands, how many times did you vote for biden in the last election?

everything is dependent upon people being basically good people -from there it's a matter of their understanding -which they will attempt to increase because they are basically good.

ideally, we want good cops and good citizens.

same is true for everything -if everyone is against everyone, the world implodes.

Ahh! Another big lie believer, I feel bad for you but trust me, you will get over the fact that it was a fair election. Not even an insurrection could change it for the liar and (ex) chief.
Biden is making life's easier, I am sure many of the believers enjoyed all the financial help Joe provided and still will provide, even the GOP Senate has nothing better to do than throwing stones. That's what it has come to, so sad.

well that would be fine with me( stoning all the liberals,)but we outlawed that many years ago . Lol. Making life easier, 🤪. Try telling that to the cops or firemen or military personal . That lost their jobs because they refused to inject a drug into their body that is still not completely know how it will effect humans. Not to mention the 1000s of health care workers that were considered hero’s at the height of the pandemic. Americans are not sheep that will blindly follow our presidents or (kings) as we represented in 1776 when we kicked the ruling bums out of our country. The stimulus payments were a drop in the bucket for the working man. But since you don’t reside in this country it doesn’t surprise me your ignorant to what actually goes on here.

Not sure what you are talking about Joe providing financial help? Much more stimulus was given out while Trump was in office than when since Joe stepped in. Trump also cut taxes and increased the child tax credit, Trump also did away with the Obama care socialist penalty for not having health care. The cost of all energy sources has gone up under Biden, inflation is the highest it's ever been, how is that making my life easier? Maybe you should just MYOB or quit falling for these allusions that the media is trying to feed the people.

getting clearer & clearer.

in the Kim Potter trail, Timothy Gannon, her boss and former Brooklyn Center police chief - resigned.

in fact, instead of Police De-fund, people should hold the chiefs accountable, including demand for their resignations.
