It's not illegal to enter the country to seek asylum. But you're right that we need immigration reform and that requires Congress. I'm sure the Biden Administration is working on this right now, because once they get that cleared up, then Biden can get funding for Israel & Ukraine aid. Harris' campaigning doesn't change that either way. Whatever she's done, it's more than V.P. Pence ever did for immigration reform.

Biden is actually giving amnesty to the millions of illegal immigrants he has let in our country. He is skirting the law for future votes for the democrats. That is a impeachable offense . Hopefully our congress will not go that route because the thought of that Dingbat Kamala being in charge is reason to just let Biden finish out his last days in office. What do you expect VP Harris to do without funding? Just because Trump openly broke international agreements on immigration and asylum doesn't mean Biden has to. Also, *amnesty* doesn't mean what you seem to think it does. IF you want the Southern border fixed, it'll take Congress to do it. Even Trump didn't stop illegal immigration. Locking up hundreds of thousands and separating families didn't stop it, but just created other messes. Sure, illegal immigration is worse now that under Trump, but that's just Trump's nutty foreign policy playing out. South American economies are crashing and the inherent fascism exploded. People suffering are looking to make their lives better.

To come here to make more money is not a valid reason in our immigration policy to be allowed in our country. Neither is the so called ‘climate crisis’ the dems scream are bringing these immigrants in..

So you actually believe that 70% of all these immigrants qualify for asylum and entry into our country? Because that’s how many are allowed free release into the USA. And don’t think that little piece of paper saying come to any courthouse in a few years to have your asylum hearing is going to work. There is no way of knowing where these people will be to go after them for disobeying their court date… And most democrats know this and allow it to happen.

I'm not really wound up over immigration. When I lived in California, we all seemed to know that immigrants were important to the economy, providing various work that otherwise went undone, so we were happy to have our agricultural and service jobs done by immigrants. The "scary" stories of caravans and terrorists heading to our borders never really made sense. I'm sure you follow all that, though.

OK. Humor me. What's the point I'm missing? Should I agree with you that immigrants are bad? Should we spend $trillions on a wall on the Northern border too, or is it just the brown immigrants coming up from the South that're the problem? Are they "poisoning the blood of America?"

I agree that immigration is a problem in that the US immigration system is overly complex and inhumane. When Texas puts up concertina wire, illegally, in the Rio Grande and cries like stuck pigs when ordered to remove it after injuring people, and applauding CBP officers whipping immigrants seeking asylum, I can see that's problematic. I think the problem is political and social when Republicans worship Trump over Jesus and congressmen kill immigration reform in order to politically injure Biden over working to fix the country's problems.

Safety? Immigrants are less criminal than the rest of the population. That immigration causes any problems at all is a problem with the policy and budget. The US could easily absorb all the immigrants, house and employ them, if we wanted to. You seem to think every 2nd or 3rd immigrant is a Muslim terrorist with a suicide vest. They're not. And even the biggest immigrant caravan won't start a nuclear war. You are a piece of work.

How do you know all the statements you make are true , are you at the border watching these people come in, how about taking some in your home. Since you absolutely trust them whole heartedly you should have no problem taking some in. You really like making statements about issues that you are ignorant of as if you can tell the future. But that is what many democrats do.
