afternoon peeps'n lurkers..

late start in here just cuz I had an early mornin appointment that took me well past the lunch hour..
had a few errands ta do while I was out thar.. at least the price of gas is down a tad.. yay..

temps here are currently at 90F but 106F with the humidex does that mean that summer is gonna be over soon?? that'd be just too awesome *sighs* probably not tho huh can't win'em all.. mind you.. they're sayin it's supposed ta cool down come Monday.. here's hopin..

anywho.. gots things ta do round here and got delayed cuz of ma mornin schedule so.. I'm out.. just not outside I ain't that stupid, regardless of what some may think

how awesome was THAT

we were hit with torrential rains and thunder.. so I got the bright idea ta head outside, bucket of hot soapy water and squeegee in hand wearing ma rubber boots and raincoat.. and washed ma car that was SO much fun.. and ma cars all sparkley now WOOHOO.. and back under the carport too funny..

some may call me nuts.. but hey.. I just saved myself $15 at the carwash

I also did a bit of dancin in the rain AND.. got soaked regardless.. I had about 2" of water in ma boots only drawback was.. dang rain was cold goin down between ma boobs

All good here...a few trees down here and there, some folks without power this morning, but I think their all good now. Time to fire up the pit again and enjoy a few cold ones

well.. been a day.. a bit of a long one but.. almost done.. did what I needed ta do and took some time ta chill too.. now tho? time to clean things up and get ready ta git ma buttski inta bed.. watch a show or 2 then lights out.. after a sudoku of course.. gotta charge the brain and change it so's I can sleep

anudder weekend started with a slightly cooler tone.. YAY.. althouth it's 73F it feels like 77F already better than the 106F phew but supposed ta get to 88F today blah.. however there are cooler days ahead WOOP

got stuff ta do, per usual.. 'fore it gets too hot.. so hope everyone has a super day

I did have a check list for sure even posted notes on the front door for doors and ac settings. 🤣

I'm good now nerves are much better well with a little help with a frozen margarita 🤣

anudder day just about done.. did a fair bit today.. started a new project.. plus stained a few kitchen cabinets (the perfect match to the current ones) that I added parts to.. looks pretty darned good

drafted another few projects too.. I love drafting.. then priced everything out.. awesome.. not expensive at all.. picking up the wood on Monday with the rest, they'll keep me busy this fall/winter

had some special visitors today.. a doe, a buck and their 2 kids came strolling into my back yard.. such beautiful animals.. they weren't in a hurry ta leave either.. *sighs* I'm so blessed..

well.. the day has been a very wet one.. and cool.. I LOVE it.. nothin better than a cool rainy day ta get things done indoors.. specially when you can open windows and screen doors ta get some air circulation..

almost time fer bed.. gonna get the kitchen cleaned and other thangs and go chill with a show'n a sudoku or 2.. got a busy day tamarra.. WOOT.. and it's gonna be a nice cool day too.. perfect for workin outside.. hope everyone had a great day and has an enjoyable evenin.. cheers

Hey hey just dropping in for a min. To say I made it and have had the best tour guide my friend. This place is beyond beautiful. The peacefulness looking across the beach at the ocean makes you forget the world.

Off to make me a cup of coffee and chill a bit.
