okay so I'm sUPer sore.. did way too much today.. but no choice.. had ta get most of the lumber stored AND another batch that needed to be cut.. the 26 pieces that I cut needs a clear coat of varnish after a light sanding, then those'll be ready to finish one project.. the balance is for the deck roof.. and I've already started drilling holes in the 2x6x16, 2x6x12 & 2x6x8 for easier installation cuz I'm doing all those solo.. the 2x6x14's all need ta be angle-cut at each end so they're flush with the wall'n cross supports.. that I'll do maybe on the weekend.. see how the weather pans out..

speaking of weather.. awesome day today with cool breezes and temps at 70F.. ma kinda weather.. supposed ta be the same tomorrow but then the rains heading back.. so maybe I'll focus on the sanding and varnishing of those 26 pieces so I can finish that inside project when the rain hits..

anywho.. hope everyone had a super day.. and is having a great evenin..

anudder cool day in da hood with sunshine'n a few clouds.. it's mowing day sadly.. gotta get that done cuz they're sayin rain for the next 5 days?? holy moley that's a lotta rain.. grass is already up from the past few days of on/off rain so.. best get it done taday so's I don't have a foot of grass ta mow next time, whenever that is..

after that some light sanding and clear coating those already cut pieces of wood for finishing the indoor project.. looks like I'll have more time for that than the deck roof..

got the lawn mowed AND trimmed all the edges.. ouch.. then I spent all afternoon sanding and stainin those 26 pieces of wood.. just finished eating.. I'm SOOOO tired tho.. needed ta get all the set-up put away too before the rain starts.. or the coons tear everything apart ouch.. I am SOO tired tho.. wow.. must be.. I said it twice

anudder day done.. stormus interuptus screwed up some of my plans today.. which sucked but.. still managed a 2nd coat of varnish on those 26 pieces.. wanted to put a coat or 2 of varathane on as well but.. like I said.. got rained out.. bummer.. supposed ta rain for the next 5 days still.. ugh.. and the deck roof isn't on so I can't do squat outside.. I am NOT varathaning inside either.. just have ta wait for a rainless day is all.. *sighs*

anudder rainy day here.. a tad windy.. coolish temps (YAY lol) this weather, and hearin the rain on the roof.. reminds me of when I was a kid.. at the cottage for the summer.. playin cards, backgammon or readin on the screened-in porch under a warm blanket after chores of course.. sometimes we'd go swimming and I'd duck under just so I cud look up at the drops hitting the lakes surface.. ahhh memories.. fond ones of a simplier, carefree time..

anywho.. back to reality.. best go put the laundry in the dryer.. chores aren't finished yet.. have a super day y'all

my mothers day gift from my eldest is actually starting to bloom (an hydrangea) the buds are very small but.. for only 3.5 weeks since I planted it, it's doing extremely well..
