Well it was not easy but went out for another 30 min and got the big trash can filled about 3/4 full of twigs, bark and leaves... Got it to the curb for them to pick up today..

Ohh and well I always have a bottle of water nearby...

Coffee bar is ready with coffee etc...

I'm heading out to start watering my front yard a little before it gets too hot... for we will be hitting triple digits for sure today..

wow.. 98.. plus the humidex.. and you're out mowing the lawn?? you gotta death wish?? :expressionless:

seriously tho.. hope everyone remembers to hydrate...

my a/c managed to make it thru the day YAY.. actually.. it just stopped working (it shut itself down having finally reached the set temp.. so all good phew)

it's really quiet out here.. not much traffic.. actually hardly any.. you cud cut the heat with a knife it's so humid'n muggy.. mind you there is a slight breeze and it's sort of raining so.. it actually feels a tad cooler than earlier.. the humidex is at 99F right now so I guess it is cooler lol not by much but.. every lil bit will help..another high tomorrow of 115F.. :cry:

the a/c just kicked in again.. at least it had a 5 min break :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

My safety vest has 12 rows of ice in the liner.🦺

Humm now that is smart thinking...

I always forget I have the frozen neck band somewhere Use to keep several in the ice chest when we rode in events, with the horses..years ago..

I got myself a lil somethin special.. a 'gift' if you will.. it's one of those neck fans that shoot cooling air all up your face/neck/head.. works awesome for what I need.. still wouldn't mind finding one of those safety vests tho.. :thumbsup:

welcome to another FLYDAY.. YAYDAY for all those workin mon-fri laugh

we're currently at 81F (97F with the heat index PHEW) but at least we got some wind today.. 12 mph NICE.. breezy.. going up to 88F (102F) which is actually way better than the past 2 days.. still not cool enough fer me to venture outside ta do any kind of yardwork tho.. no thank you.. last mow I cut it low enough I could wait several extra days before it absolutely needed another cut so.. I's thinkin work-smart lol

anywho.. hope everyone has a super day drinker

current temps at 82F (95F with the heat index) blah.. still pretty hot out there but with the sun going down.. finally getting a tad bit more tolerable..

supposed to flip in a week or so to more comfortable temps.. fingers crossed..

anywho.. didn't work outside today.. still too hot'n muggy..

time to start getting ready for bed tho.. after kitchen clean up that is.. not a lot ta do but enough lol

hope everyone had a good day.. is enjoying your evening.. and staying hydrated'n frosty drinker

Morning all~~~

Well it is gonna be another toasty day in Texas... not even 8am yet and it is 89 outside.. So far does not feel to bad out there but then have only stepped out long enough to feed the stray cats that hang around...

About 7pm last night I went outside, it was a lot cooler than it had been during the day.. Decided to see if my mower would start, would not earlier.. Yeppers it did so got front and backyard mowed..

Seems my area is now under Excessive Heat Warning for today

Off to figure out what I'm going to eat for breakfast & refill my coffee...

another scorcher out there this mornin.. phew
currently 77F (90F with the head index) PHEW is right.. 76% humidity.. weirdly tho.. it's supposed ta be a high of 79F but 88F with the humidex? noway

that's nuts but I'll take it YEAH.. lol

gonna try doing something outside.. that grass is growing too fast so.. either trimming it or mowing it.. or waiting till sundown to do both.. hmmmm.. we'll see.. gonna put out a baby pool for the animals.. shud of thought about this 2 days ago but.. wasn't thinking I guess.. slaphead

Heck seems even my mower is smarter than I'm when it comes to mowing..

Humm well I got my kiddie pool all out and set up. Just waiting another hour to make sure where the sun is so I have it in the area I want it.. Then will get it secured and start filling it up..

Humm sorry Slim even I skipped Breakfast this morning... just coffee only... got sidetracked with the pool..

AC is going full blast here... for it is already 90 with heat index its a 100 outside humidity at 58.. We have a Excessive Heat Warning in my area at this time.. I can only imagine what the temps will reach today they are saying with heat index it could be 108..

okay so.. got the grass trimmed YAY bigsmile

wore my personal air cooler round ma neck.. works like a charm.. I was out for about 45 mins.. not to shanky WOOT..

anywho.. that's done.. the baby pool is up AND 1/2 filled cuz I know those coons'll get it all messy in no time laugh

splish splash..

came in, had lunch and just taking a breather before I start cleaning the kitchen.. got some cooking done biggrin

Awe I'm sure the neck cooler helped a lot..

The coons are going to have a blast..

I ended up cooking a Quesadilla Burger for lunch then went outside..

Got my kiddie pool all set up secured and filled. Touched up the table that I set beside it to hold things on. Laid out for about an hour.. All refreshed..

Humm might be recliner time.. I'm tired need to set my alarm jets are flying over right about 6pm for the 4th..

Humm well with heat index it is 107 here at 2pm Humidity is 40%..

finally.. a break in the hot/muggy temps..even tho it's 75F and feels like 81F.. there's a coolness to the air that's rather welcoming.. YAY supposed to hit 61F overnight and 68F in the morning.. looks like a better time to mow the lawn.. we're down to 51% humidity too YIPEEE..

finally.. supposed to be back to regular 'summer' weather without the crazy heat.. at least that's what they're predicting..

anywho.. kitchen needs one last clean up then shower'n off ta read fer a bit.. hope everyone enjoyed their day and hope y'all have a good evening.. drinker

Rise & shine~~~

Coffee is ready and Breakfast Burritos it is this morning.. Eggs, bacon,cheese and stuff to make it a Mexican Burrito with salsa onions & jalp..

We are actually catching a bit of a break today high only suppose to hit 93 with chance of rain later..

I don't have any plans today besides piddling around the house.. But who knows what I will end up doing around the house..

cuz it was cooler this morning.. was up mowing the lawn and doing some chores outside before the heat hit.. phew.. got it all done then came in and made my ZeeMuffin (sausage pattie, cheese, egg on a brown bread muffin) YUM.. also making a pizza with 3 cheeses, ground beef, onions'n mushrooms.. YUM.. doing a tomato sauce this time.. shud be yummy..

anywho.. gotta watch the pizza doesn't burn LOL so best get back to it.. have a super Sunday y'all drinker
