You ladies better start getting your acts together,in regard to rolling out the brunch on Sundays(?)....coz you know I do not exactly cook .....I serve three kinds of meals at my place ..Frozen, Take out and microwave....

anudder week has just begun.. and luckily.. the temps round here are super cool.. literally.. 68F (but feels like 70F ) YAY.. high of 81F but feels like 91F.. I'll be back inside by then..

I do have stuff ta do outside this mornin and need ta get to that before the heat & sun hits.. so hope everyone has a great day

started installing the joist/rafter support hardware only to discover.......... the 2x6x16 isn't installed correctly so.. now I have to find someone to help me uninstall and reinstall in properly.. doesn't look like I'm gonna get a roof on my deck this year which means no deck furniture.. no eating on my deck and no relaxing on it either

well.. that's it for me.. gonna finish cleaning the kitchen then shower and jump inta bed..

Well I'd come and help ya reinstall that 2 by but I haven't eaten in while since BOTH cooks took off and I'm feeling very weak.

mornin peeps'n lurkers

so I didn't sleep much last night.. had a total of 3 hrs.. which only came about at 5am.. tried falling back to sleep but that wasn't happenin..
suffice ta say I won't be doing much if anything today.. other than eating and probably sleeping at some point..

looking at a high of 79F but feels like 88 and the humidex is rising.. already feels like 79F outside.. can't wait for this ta be over.. ahh.. we're never happy are we..

didn't do much today.. I did however enjoy an afternoon nap.. that helped greatly.. but of course.. I'm still tired..

current temps are 77F but 84F with the humidex.. mind you there's a gentle cool breeze so not too bad and the sun's setting so that helps cool things down a tad.. overnite temps are 68F AWEsome.. but no real breeze to speak of so not too cooling.. regardless.. pleasant enough evening ta sit out and watch the coons play in the baby pool

anywho.. kitchen duty, shower then watch a TV show, do a sudoku or 2 then lights out.. ah yes, such an exciting life I lead LOL.. just the way I like it at this age.. enjoy your evening y'all

it's the middle of the week.. is that a YAY I hear from the crowd? lol

high of 95F with the humidex.. blah.. currently at 73F but feels like 82F if y'all haven't guessed by now.. I'm not a "heat" person.. although I am in winter lol..at least then you can layer

so.. inside chores today.. not much I can or need ta do outside regardless.. although I shud weed that patio..

Awe heck we are suppose to hit a 100 solid today without the heat index.. So no telling how high it will go..

Humm well all the trees I had cut up 3 large piles. They are picking them up today.. Got half of it picked up before their truck was full so they will be back later.. to get the rest..

Sure made me happy to see it getting removed.. even took all the guys bottles of water for a small treat and thank you for what they do..

well.. that was an enriching addition to the conversation

so I've been spending time building out my newly discovered family 'tree'.. got as far back as the 1400's so far.. pretty neat if ya ask me... wow.. there's lotsa inbreeding back then.. brings new meaning to "keep it in the family"
