Yesterday it was 61... today 82 and windy. Hopefully all the leaves will blow down the road. Guess it will be a soup and sandwich today. :thinking:

walnut trees? how cool is that.. I have some here too.. the deer seem to love those or it's the acorns.. not sure which but they come by and munch on them in the fall..

Love the shade but they are very messy.

Last week one dropped a 6 in. Dia. branch.

Lucky I wasn't under it at the time.

Yeah, they're both on their last legs I think.
Seeing woodpeckers isn't a good sign.
But I haven't got the heart, or the money to have them taken down.

oh I hear ya.. the woodpeckers LOVE my yard laugh

I got 4 trees that need ta come down but there's no money for that job.. between repairing my house roof and getting the car fixed I'll be lucky if I get groceries this month whoa

*sighs* such is life in todays economy huh..

wow.. 82? that's wild.. we're in the 50's and I'm not much farther north than you.. crazy..

hey... that's what I had fer lunch.. go figure.. I love that on rainy damp 'n cold days..

A friend of mine years ago never had anything in his kitchen but Cambells soup, bread, and cold cuts.

Well Texas has a mind of it's own.. Yesterday with heat index it was 101 here..

Today and tomorrow suppose to be in the 80"s then temps are suppose to be dropping by like 20 degree's ...

our daytime temps are sticking in the 50's with nighttime temps hitting the 40's.. true fall weather.. and I won't complain cuz my sleep is finally becoming more restful.. doesn't hurt that I've eliminated a few stresses in my life as well

anywho.. gotta get back to it so hope everyone has a super day drinker

Morning everyone~~~

Well it was 101 just a couple days ago here.. This morning woke up to 60 and it is not suppose to get over 62 today tomorrow more of the same.. We even had a light shower late last night..

Mother Nature does not know what she wants to do in Texas... From one extreme to another.. But will welcome the 60's for sure..

Coffee and crescent sausage rolls is what is for breakfast this morning..

I was downtown when they won in 82. The city went nuts. It was fun. This year I'm a bit too old to enjoy it. But wish I could.

ahh.. you're never too old to grab the moment by the horns and let loose.. if I were you and they won? I'd be in the thick of things enjoying the chaos.. for about 20 mins at least laugh
